This is a development from my Halloween makeup, I wanted to explore the idea of Gothic face art further and focus on mouths, teeth and dark beauty. Here, I opted for subtlety.

In real life, the eyes were darker, but this didn't come up so well on camera for some reason.

This is the character 'Tate's makeup from American horror story, i had to rush the neck quite a bit and i couldn't add the extra little details because we were pushed for time, all in all i think its ok, but what do you think? let me know in the comments box!

American horror story,
this took ages, and i mean literally all day,
i worked so hard to get the sketch perfect then nearly went insane adding the mark-making, i used water colour only, even for the super-fine lines. My teacher loves it!
